Job Description

Job Description Quality Assurance Manager Duties:

+ Establishes, operates, maintains and improves the quality management system. + Assures quality is integrated into all aspects of operations. + Responsible for publication and maintenance of the quality management system Quality Manual. + Collects and analyzes objective quality evidence and produces necessary reports to demonstrate system goals and continuous improvement. + Provides oversight of quality management system operations and maintains and operates the Internal Quality Audit Program. + Manages correspondence with suppliers/vendors for all quality assurance issues or concerns. + Ensures personnel are properly and regularly trained in process control techniques and inspections. + As necessary, conducts quality control checks, quality control inspections and final product inspections. + Responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements. + Acts as the Management Representative for all AS9100 and ISO issues.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor of Science or equivalent RF Microwave industry work experience. + Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications + Experience assessing customer specifications, statements of work; etc. + Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers; + Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff; + Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures; + Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training; + Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters; + Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary; + Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks; + Writing technical and management systems reports; + Liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications; + Establishing standards of service for customers
