Quality Assurance Manager – Food 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Temple, NH Small Food company in NH is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager . This position will oversee 3 techs. Must be HACCP certified – local candidates only (this company does not sponsor candidates) Summary ~ This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within the manufacturing facility, including developing and implementing quality assurance programs, lead and participate in internal/external inspections and audits. Ensure all finished products and raw material meet regulatory and customer requirements. Lead a team of quality technicians. Responsibilities ~ Direct and oversee all quality control activities within the manufacturing facility, develop and maintain QA procedures including raw material inspections, in-process checks, and finished product inspections. Enforces plant GMP?s Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and audit findings. Develops plant quality and sanitation procedures and protocol. Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of production facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints, product defects, and deviations from specifications. Responsible for Product Hold & Releases. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in food safety and quality management Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, USDA) and external auditors. Promote a strong culture of quality and food safety throughout the organization. Responsible for Food Safety, Food Quality and SQF program requirements. Follows all program guidelines for Halal and Kosher certifications. Proactive, action oriented and self-directed work style, results oriented. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF). Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
