We have a strong commitment to quality and innovation. Summary We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our team at American Gas & Chemical Co Ltd. Plans, coordinates, and directs our quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Responsibilities Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with plant supervisors to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Quality Manual and Procedures Keeps up to date and develops new procedures.

Auditing:

Ensures products, processes, or services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Performs inspections, audits, and tests to identify defects or areas for improvement.

Training:

Ensure all employees are trained in the quality control procedures relevant to their job.

Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.

Quality Council:

Investigates and keeps track of customer complaints regarding quality. Chair of company Quality Council which meets monthly. Sets up meetings and keeps minutes. Responds to customer quality inquiries. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred. Experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ISO regulations, and quality assurance methodologies. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments. You will be expected to be present in the building every day.
