Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality professional to lead quality assurance and control efforts within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards, with a strong focus on ISO 9001 and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee the Quality Management System in compliance with

ISO 9001

standards. Implement and manage inspection, testing, and evaluation procedures for products and production equipment. Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials and finished goods to confirm they meet industry and company specifications. Identify and eliminate non-conforming products, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Analyze quality control data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Conduct regular internal quality audits to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Develop and maintain quality plans and documentation to support manufacturing in sectors such as medical devices, laboratory equipment, testing instruments, and electronics. Train and manage production staff on quality procedures, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are understood and followed across operations. Monitor production timelines to support on-time delivery of quality products. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degrees need to focus on natural sciences, business management, industrial science or statistics or equivalent experience in a machine shop environment in lieu of a degree. Three plus years of work experience or training in quality management, planning, verification methods and quality monitoring. Knowledge of ISO 9001, measurement and testing methods, process management, operations management and information systems. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to quality control. Ability to read blueprint drawings. Ability to use measuring equipment such as optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, and verniers. Previous experience in a machine shop is a plus. #M3 #LI-MD1
