M Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Associate Director of Quality Assurance for Value-Based Payments and Community Partnerships supports strategic initiatives specific to Metropolitan Hospital. Reporting to the Senior Director, the Analyst focuses on data analysis, reporting, and collaboration to advance value-based outcomes, strengthen community partnerships, and align efforts with the hospital’s mission. This role requires coordination with internal teams and external partners to enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and optimize operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Value-Based Payments (VBP) and Quality Score Analysis and Management
- Analyze VBP metrics, including contract performance, quality scores, and patient outcomes, to assess alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify trends and discrepancies in quality metrics, developing actionable strategies to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to implement improvements that optimize VBP agreements and maximize reimbursement potential.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality measures and outcomes, presenting findings to hospital leadership for informed decision-making.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure Metropolitan’s compliance and competitiveness within VBP frameworks.
2. Support for Strategic Relationship Management - Help build and maintain trust-based relationships with local community health organizations, payers, and healthcare providers specific to Metropolitan Hospital.
- Track progress on partnership initiatives and identify gaps in services for underserved populations within the hospital’s reach.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and engagements with partners to strengthen networks.
3. Performance Oversight - Support the monitoring of ongoing initiatives and contracts at Metropolitan Hospital, identifying underperforming areas for review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather feedback on operational alignment and effectiveness.
- Assist in implementing strategies to address areas for improvement as directed by the Senior Director.
4. Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration - Act as a liaison between the Senior Director and Metropolitan Hospital departments, as well as external partners, to ensure clear communication.
- Draft and distribute materials to educate stakeholders about value-based care principles and objectives.
- Facilitate collaboration across Metropolitan Hospital departments to align efforts with the hospital’s goals. Minimum Qualifications
- Qualification for Central Office.
# Qualification for Health Care Facility.
1. a. A Baccalaureate Degree in Public Administration, Public Health or Health Care Specialization; and,
b. Five - years or four# years of increasingly responsible experience in hospital administration, with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of health care delivery services; or,
2. a. A Masters Degree in Public Administration, Public Health or Health Care Specialization; and,
b. Four - years or three# years of increasingly responsible experience in hospital administration, with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of health care delivery services.
