QA Automation Manager

Role Overview:
They’re seeking a QA Automation Manager to lead quality efforts across their platform. This is a hands-on technical role where you ll write and review production-level code while shaping the future of QA strategy. Alongside managing and mentoring a QA team, you ll directly design and implement test frameworks and collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure platform reliability.
This role is perfect for a QA leader or senior engineer looking to balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
What You ll
Do:
Manage, mentor, and grow a QA engineering team.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend systems and APIs.
Define and drive quality strategies across engineering.
Collaborate with development and product teams to create test plans and release criteria.
Lead hiring efforts for QA and scale the team effectively.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years in QA automation or software engineering, including hands-on coding.
Direct people management experience in QA or engineering.
Proficiency in Java or C# (Python-only candidates considered if exceptional).
Expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Bachelor s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with trading systems, FIX protocol, or institutional financial software.
Familiarity with distributed systems and performance-sensitive environments.
