My client is seeking a Quality manager to lead the QualityAssurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring that all productsand processes meet both internal and external quality standards.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, andmaintaining a comprehensive quality management system, drivingcontinuous improvement efforts, and fostering a culture ofexcellence. With a rich history spanningdecades, they serve critical industries such as aerospace &defence, industrial markets, energy, and commercial marine sectors.

Description They key responsibilities of the QualityManager will be: Quality Management System (QMS): Develop,implement, and manage the company’s QMS in accordance with industrystandards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, API, etc.).

Compliance andAudits :

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards,and customer requirements. Lead internal and external audits,including certification and surveillance audits.

ContinuousImprovement:

Drive initiatives aimed at reducing defects, improvingprocess efficiency, and enhancing product reliability through rootcause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Supplier QualityManagement :

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standardsare maintained, conduct supplier audits, and develop improvementplans as necessary.

Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor, and developthe quality team, fostering a culture of accountability andexcellence.

Customer Focus:

Act as the primary point of contact forcustomers on quality-related matters, including complaintresolution, corrective actions, and communication of qualitymetrics.

Quality Metrics :

Monitor and report on key performanceindicators (KPIs), analyze data to identify trends, and implementcorrective measures where needed.

Process Control:

Ensure that allmanufacturing processes are in control and aligned with qualitystandards, utilizing statistical methods and process improvementtools.

Risk Management:

Identify risks related to product qualityand implement mitigation strategies.

Documentation:

Ensure that allquality documentation is properly maintained, updated, andavailable for internal and external use. Profile The successfulQuality manager will have the following: Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in amanufacturing or industrial environment. ASQ Certified QualityManager (CQM) or similar certification preferred. Experience withISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems is required. Strong leadershipand team management skills. In-depth knowledge of quality controland quality assurance principles. Excellent problem-solving andanalytical skills, with a focus on root cause analysis andcorrective action. Familiarity with tools such as Six Sigma, LeanManufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC). Strongcommunication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability tointeract with all levels of the organization. Proficiency inquality-related software and data analysis tools.
