Role:

As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs focused on manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality assurance. You will work closely with our Technical Writer to understand current training modules and update training materials, ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational goals. Your role will be vital in onboarding new hires and providing ongoing training to existing employees to enhance their skills and productivity. This full-time, in-office position is a part of the Engineering department and involves collaborating with the Production teams and management to identify training needs and implement effective training solutions. Your efforts will ensure that all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles, thereby contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with

ISO 9001

standards. Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts using Lean and Six Sigma principles. Monitor and analyze key quality metrics (e.g., rework, scrap, customer complaints) and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis efforts. Oversee internal/external audits, product inspections, and supplier quality evaluations. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements. Manage quality documentation, control plans, inspection criteria, and testing procedures. Train and mentor employees on quality standards and best practices; lead the Quality team with a focus on development and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance/control, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proficient in root cause tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys), quality software, and

ISO 9001

standards. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred). ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE) a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills. Hands-on, data-driven, and customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
