Full-Time A steel foundry, with a trusted name in high-integrity castings for over 45 years, is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen our quality assurance program. This is a critical, on-site leadership role reporting directly to the President, and ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and wants to grow with a company on the rise.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the company’s quality assurance system for sand castings, ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements Assist with internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, customer audits – military/nuclear) Direct the nonconformance reporting (NCR) process and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions Interface directly with customers, suppliers, and inspectors on quality issues Develop and maintain quality procedures, records, and documentation Supervise quality team members and provide leadership on day-to-day quality operations Partner with production, engineering, and leadership to ensure product integrity and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management and supervisory role within a manufacturing environment Foundry or casting experience is a strong plus Working knowledge of industry quality standards (ISO, military/defense specifications & nuclear) Experience with defense-related manufacturing Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Comfortable in both office and shop floor environments
