We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Quality Control Manager to oversee and improve quality control and assurance processes at our multi-site plastics manufacturing facilities. This role ensures products meet internal standards and customer expectations for quality, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485). Manage eQMS systems and lead CAPA processes for defects and complaints. Oversee inspections, audits, and quality documentation. Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to meet quality requirements. Train staff on quality procedures and prepare for audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles. Manage calibration schedules and mentor quality team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Quality Assurance. 3+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing (e.g., injection molding, extrusion). Knowledge of ISO standards, ASTM methods, SPC, FMEA, and PPAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus. Certification (CQE or CQA) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work on the production floor and lift up to 25 pounds. Occasional travel within the state.

$115,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
