Quality Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 150 Orlan Rd, New Holland, PA 17557 Quality Manager The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key duties include developing and implementing quality management systems (QMS), overseeing quality control and assurance processes, and setting measurable quality objectives aligned with company goals. The role involves conducting regular audits, analyzing quality data, and reporting findings to management. The Quality Manager also ensures compliance with industry regulations and certifications, provides training to staff on quality best practices, and collaborates across departments to integrate & build in quality throughout the production process. Quality Technicians Supervisory Responsibilities:

Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains quality technicians. Communicates regularly with staff to create an environment of team problem-solving and process improvement. Leads and influences daily lean management principles. Provides constructive, clear, and timely feedback to employees. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) Oversee quality control and assurance processes throughout production Establish and monitor quality objectives and targets Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications Conduct regular internal audits and inspections Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Report audit findings and quality performance to management Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives Train and develop staff on quality best practices and procedures Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence Performs other related duties as assigned.

Technical Proficiency:

In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assessment tools, and relevant software.

Familiarity with industry standards, certifications (e.g., ISO, FDA), and legal requirements.

Data Analysis:

Skills in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality data to drive improvements. Attention to

Detail:

Meticulous oversight of product and process quality to minimize defects and ensure compliance.

Risk Management:

Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to product quality and safety.

Training and Development:

Capability to train and mentor staff on quality best practices and procedures.

Adaptability:

Flexibility to respond to changing technologies, regulations, and business needs.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, Quality Management, or other industry-related field required; Equivalent work experience may be considered. Five years management experience required. Seven years of industry-related experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office and manufacturing setting. May be subject to the current local weather conditions.
