About the team The Complianceteam at Paxos plays a vital role in ensuring the company adheres toglobal regulatory standards across financial products and services.
This team tackles complex challenges such as AML, sanctions, andtransaction monitoring, all while ensuring a robust complianceframework in a rapidly evolving crypto and fintech landscape. Bysafeguarding Paxos against regulatory risks, the team is essentialin helping the company achieve its mission of creating a moretransparent and efficient financial ecosystem. About the role TheCompliance QA & Testing Program Manager is responsible for leadingand enhancing Paxos’ compliance quality assurance and externalpartner testing framework. This role focuses on evaluatingcompliance effectiveness, conducting internal and externalcompliance reviews, and ensuring regulatory standards are met. Thisrole is responsible for developing a scalable, data-driven QA &testing program that strengthens compliance processes across Paxos.
What youll do Develop and manage the QA and testing framework toassess and enhance compliance effectiveness across internalprocesses and external partnerships. Conduct data-driven compliancetesting and quality assurance reviews, using analytics to assesscontrol effectiveness and identify risk areas. Oversee third-partycompliance testing, evaluating external partner risk and adherenceto regulatory requirements. Implement process improvements based ontesting results to enhance regulatory compliance and operationalefficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tointegrate data analysis and automation into compliance qualityassurance and testing. Monitor and report on QA and testingresults, providing insights and recommendations to leadership forcontinuous improvement. Ensure alignment with evolving regulatoryrequirements, proactively identifying compliance risks and adaptingtesting methodologies accordingly. About you 5 years of experiencein compliance testing, audit, risk management, or qualityassurance, preferably in fintech, financial services, orcrypto/blockchain industries. Strong knowledge of regulatorycompliance frameworks (AML, BSA, financial crime compliance,third-party risk management). Strong analytical skills andproficiency with tools such as Google Suite, Looker, and ComplianceMonitoring Systems (e.g., ComplyAdvantage, Chainalysis,Hummingbird). Experience conducting QA assessments and compliancetesting for both internal operations and external parties.
Proficiency data analysis, with the ability to assess compliancecontrols, analyze large datasets, and identify discrepancies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with theability to work cross-functionally. Ability to develop andimplement process improvements based on testing results andcompliance insights. Pay and benefits Paxos offers a competitivetotal compensation and benefits package, including equity andbonuses based on both your individual performance and companyperformance. Eligibility for bonuses is dependent on job level, andactual salary within the range depends on your skills, experience,and qualifications. Expected range for the base salary componentfor candidates located within the United States is:$127,584—$150,099 USD
