We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role will involve implementing quality control processes, managing audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards.
Lead and manage the QA team in daily operations and quality control activities.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with production and other departments to identify areas for improvement in product quality.
Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance best practices and food safety protocols.
Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and product recalls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry, preferably in bakery or baked goods.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
Proven management skills with experience leading a QA team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
