Within the Month (likely 2-3 virtually interviews give or take) The ideal candidate will have experience coming from fintech and/or start up environments where experience supporting mobile apps, web products, APIs and backend systems will be crucial! Position Overview Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Testing Manager to play a critical role in building, teaching and managing their Testing Program. This role will develop the Testing Program, drive and support consistent testing, ensure that all technical, operational process and customer facing processes have been tested to the best of our ability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fintech testing, understands the methodologies and is willing to build and drive the plan(s). You’ll be joining a fast growing start up; you have to be comfortable with being hire #1 to not only build the prototcols, but build your team.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and manage the overarching testing program for its end-to-end solution Collaborate with the technology team to design and implement robust testing strategies for product(s), including mobile, web, APIs, backend systems and processes. Develop and lead test planning, execution, and report-out of results Ensure testing covers functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and compliance scenarios Collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps, marketing ops, operations and compliance teams to resolve defects and improve quality Collaborate on the development of the automation testing framework to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations (e.g., PCI
DSS, SOX, KYC/AML, GDPR
) Manage testing in environments involving payments, lending, digital banking, wallets Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders Continuously evaluate and implement tools, methodologies, and best practices in collaboration with the quality team and stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing, with at least 2 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, especially in fintech and healthcare domains. Experience with API testing and automation tools. Proficiency in Agile/SCRUM project management practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
