Certified Quality Engineer Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the quality assurance team. This role involves ensuring the products or services meet the required quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The QA Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control processes, as well as leading and coaching a team of quality assurance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:

Lead and supervise the QA team to ensure effective performance and high-quality standards Provide training, mentoring, and performance reviews for QA team members. Schedule and assign tasks to QA staff, ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed. Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Quality Control & Assurance:

Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with company goals and industry regulations. Oversee the inspection and testing of products or services at various stages of the production process. Identify, investigate, and resolve, any quality issues, non-conformities, or complaints. Disposition non-conforming material in the Material Review area. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, engineering, warehouse, etc.) to ensure consistent quality across all stages of production.

Data Management & Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess the quality of products or services. Prepare detailed reports on product quality, performance, and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates to management on quality assurance metrics, goals, and progress. Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes. Drive initiatives aimed at improving product quality, reducing defects, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Regulatory:

Work with Quality, Environment, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality. Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always ensures duties of high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

Quality Assurance, background (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Lean Six Sigma) and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with statistical analysis, data interpretation, and quality control tools (e.g., root cause analysis, control charts). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality improvement. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs SAP knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ CQE) is a plus. Experience with manufacturing assembly processes.
