Quality Supervisor Position Available In Greenwood, South Carolina

Eaton’s Power Distribution Controls and Assemblies (PDCA) division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor. This is an on-site position based at our Greenwood, SC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03

• $137500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
• What you’ll do:
• The Quality Supervisor will lead quality control and assurance activities to ensure products meet customer specifications and performance standards.

This role will champion the Eaton Lean Six Sigma and Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) programs to drive productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality in alignment with EBS goals. The supervisor will serve as the primary quality liaison between operations and customers, managing complaints, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Inspection team and scrap coordinator
• Maintain and ensure compliance with ISO-9001 and EQMS standards
• Lead the deployment of EQMS and Lean Six Sigma initiatives within the plant
• Develop and implement quality procedures, standards, training, and communication programs
• Drive process improvements and cost-of-quality reduction efforts, including error-proofing initiatives
• Oversee calibration, maintenance, and use of test and process control equipment
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to support continuous improvement aligned with Eaton’s corporate goals.

• Required (Basic)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution
• CQE or CQM Certification

• Skills:

• Thorough understanding of problem solving methods-i.e. Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and the associated statistical tools to analyze problems, evaluate and complete improvement projects
• Working knowledge of ISO, Quality Management System and Six Sigma
• Detailed knowledge of process auditing techniques to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to process/product variability, and root cause and corrective action determination
• Thorough knowledge of gauging and inspection techniques
