Our dynamic manufacturing team in Orangeburg, S.C. is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Quality Assurance Manager/ SQF Practitioner. This position is responsible for leading and managing the entire range of Quality programs. Coordinate document preparation and certifications for audits and act as the main point of contact for audits with regulatory and third-party compliance. Identify, document, and communicate with production and warehouse operations on non-compliance issues and hold and release procedures. Requirements Bachelors degree in related field is preferred 5 years of direct SQF practitioner experience. Food safety training and certification in GMP’s, HACCP, and SQF are required. Experience and proficiency with operating computer software, hardware and other technological applications is required. Delegate tasks to QA Techs and follow up to ensure that they have been properly completed. Manage QA Tech scheduling including personal time off and unscheduled absences. Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Demonstrates consistency, flexibility and commitment to meet deadlines. Understanding of all products being produced in the facility in relation to all technical data, performance on customers’ equipment, etc. Basic understanding of all lab machine functions. Must have a working knowledge of flexible packaging. Customer Focus-Dedicated to meeting the experience and requirements of internal and external customers uses first-hand information for improvement activities. Direct Others-Establishes clear directions; lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner; maintains two-way dialogue with peers on work and results; clearly communicates.

Bachelors degree in related field is preferred. 8 years in manufacturing department required. Excellent communication & leadership skills. Minimum of five-year experience in petrochemical packaging. Experience with start-up operations and team building.
