About the Team Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Plant Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in driving excellence across the plant’s operations. This leader is responsible for shaping and guiding all quality assurance initiatives—ensuring that every product meets or exceeds customer expectations. Beyond overseeing the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS), the Quality Manager champions safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, aligning every process with both customer standards and company performance goals. Plant Quality Manager:

Reviewing, planning, selecting, developing, and implementing QMS/EMS/safety documents to meet the intent of the standard/specification and ensure ease of use by the facility.
Assisting in ensuring a safe working environment for all Associates, Managers and Visitors by ensuring all follow all safety rules and taking a proactive approach to accident prevention.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective document system to include ISO 14000, and Engineering changes.
Coordinating all team activities to the successful completion of all prioritized work. This includes, but is not limited to coordination, communication, prioritizing, and progress reports, develop, complete, and review monthly report(s), etc.
Completing position assessments, annual performance reviews, leadership assessments and training plans to ensure development of employees; maintain open door policy; mentor/coach employees.
Establishing and meeting departmental goals that ensure the continued support of the mission, vision, and values of the facility. Ensuring quality objectives for supplier and customer products and key metrics are met.
Leading the introduction of new products or modification of products within assigned area using APQP and PPAP tools from development to launch.
Performing other duties as related to this specific position. Your Profile as

Plant Quality Manager:

Four-year degree in a technical field 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in the automotive.
5+ years of supervisory and/or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
Expert level knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, procedures within Quality and Engineering statistical process control techniques (related to FMEA, control plan, CPK, etc.)
Extensive experience with quality audit procedures, quality systems and statistical process control, advanced product planning and familiarity with financial reporting statements
