Quality Manager Superior Trim – TN Old Hickory, TN 37138 Throughout the Gardner family’s ownership of Superior Trim, we have made, and continue to make, significant investments to ensure that Superior Trim has all of the appropriate technologies in-house and available to produce cost-competitive, high-quality interior and exterior trim products for medium/heavy duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that our customers expect Superior Trim – Main Products is looking for an energetic Quality Manager to lead our Quality team and initiatives. This person will be directly responsible for implementing, executing, auditing, and overseeing all aspects of quality assurance in the plant. Job duties (include but are not limited to): Gain competencies in company production processes Manage EMS/QMS in agreeance with certification requirements Oversee the documented control and inspection of raw materials to finished goods Monitor and report relevant KPI of defined processes Manage internal and external quality concerns and themes Documentation and follow-up per certification and QMS Manage and direct staff supporting day to day operations and projects Currently one Quality Technician reports to Quality Manager Arrange and oversee internal/external auditing functions maintaining certifications Lead and/or support various product improvement/scrap reduction projects Generation and championing continuous improvement and cost reduction themes Development of value-add relationships with Customer(s)
Engineering/New Model Production/Quality Positional Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or equivalent Experience managing quality systems audits Experience with
IATF 16949
