Plant Quality Manager – Mt. Pleasant, TN VENTEK Solutions LLC Mount Pleasant, TN Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant’s quality management system (QMS) within the plant. Key Responsibilities of the
Role:
Development and maintain the plants Quality Management System while maintaining necessary regulatory and compliance standards. Responsible to develop, coordinate, support, train, assist, and facilitate within all attributes of the QMS. Ensures Ventek meets all customer requirements and is point of contact for all customer issues and lead on corrective actions Responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning Process (APQP) Lead the continuous improvement activities related to process and manufacturing controls Reduce variation within work tasks to improve process efficiency and quality. Managing the specification, test methods, instructions, and audit processes. Ensure quality records are maintained. Support both centralized and other sites needs. Develops best practices for each operation within the plant and train across all shifts as required. Lead cross-functional teams to identify root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for internal and external product failures. Monitors, scores, and develops improvement plans for Preventive and Corrective action systems.
Requirements:
BS in a technical field or equivalent experience required 2+ years’ experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system. Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred. Fluent in using Microsoft Office products Interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis of building positive working relationships within the company. Ability to travel as needed (10%) IATF Experience or lead auditor certification preferred. Ability to support the operations during non-business hours. Must be authorized to work in the US
