Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that products meet the required quality standards and specifications. You must be able to work outdoors and withstand the heat and the cold weather.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of raw materials and finished products
- Perform quality checks according to established procedures and guidelines
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations of utility poles and cross ties
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lumber or lumber related products is preferred
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to interpret technical documents
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross functional teams
