Key Responsibilities:
Inspect suspect material and parts based on customer specifications. Inspections may occur lineside or offline and can be visual or involve basic measuring tools. Make decisions to reject, approve, or verify material using identification placards and ensure proper packaging. Perform rework on material or parts as needed to meet customer requirements and ensure conformance. Accurately document inspection results by completing reports, logs, or tally sheets that summarize rework and defects. Maintain a clean and organized work area (following the 5S principles) and adhere to written job instructions. Prioritize safety by following standard operating procedures and legal regulations. Stay informed by reviewing job-specific work instructions.
Requirements:
Availability for up to 12-hour shifts, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) if requested. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Reliable transportation. Capability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted during the shift. #PPG1
