The ideal candidate will serve as a crucial link between our organization and clients, ensuring effective communication and fostering strong relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and account management, with a focus on driving business development initiatives and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key role at customer manufacturing locations responsible for maintaining strong customer relationship by handling/communicating quality and delivery issues effectively.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support customer with quality and delivery related issues. Coordinate containment activities at customer locations. Collect pictures and/or samples of suspect or non conforming product. Perform Leak test investigation using hand held tester. Interact successfully with Quality Engineers. Interact successfully with customer engineering and SQE representatives. Participate in 3 path, 5why root cause analysis and corrective actions with a cross functional team in order to reduce / eliminate internal and customer PPM’s. Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies. Understand and follow all required GPS standards. Any task deemed necessary by Management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3-5 years Quality Engineering or Customer Quality Liaison experience. ASQ Certified Quality Technician is preferred. Experience with e-coating process preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High proficiency in understanding math data, interpretation and part measurement. Working knowledge of GD&T Knowledge of plant manufacturing processes. Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite. Effective communication skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
