Quality Controller –
Birmingham, AL Salary:
$60,000-$70,000/year +
Benefits Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated Quality Technician to join their growing U.S. team in Pelham, AL. They are a local plastic manufacturer and extrusion company. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a unique international training opportunity. The selected candidate will complete 4-8 weeks of onboarding and training in France under the guidance of the QHSE Manager before or during transitioning to the U.S. operation. Don’t worry, the training is located in a beautiful area of France where you’ll get to experience the Alps and tour Paris if you desire to! This travel can be split in increments if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all products meet company quality standards Conduct inspections, validate conformity, and maintain quality records Analyze data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement Support and train workshop staff to enhance product quality Manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and customer returns Maintain accurate documentation for quality control and traceability Operate inspection tools and industrial forklifts
Qualifications:
Technical degree or equivalent experience in quality, mechanics, or physical measurements Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred; recent graduates welcome Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality analysis tools Fluent in English (French a plus)!
