Job Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position requires an A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to perform aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with OEM manuals, military supplements, and FAA regulations. While the primary aircraft include Beechcraft A200C models (TC-12/C-12 aircraft), this position will also support military and commercial rotary- and fixed-wing aviation maintenance.
The A&P Mechanic with IA will be responsible for reviewing aircraft records, including weight and balance calculations, life-limited parts tracking, Required Inspection Items (RII), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletin (SB) compliance, ensuring continued airworthiness. Additionally, this role serves as the final release authority before aircraft are submitted for Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) approval for foreign sales under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts.

DUTIES:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fixed-wing aircraft, including commercial and military variants.
Comply with all FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company policies.
Accurately document and resolve aircraft discrepancies in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide final quality inspections and authorize aircraft for return to service.
Support both government and commercial aviation programs as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School degree or equivalent required.
Possesses a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
Possesses an Inspection Authorization (IA) license, current and endorsed.
A minimum of five (5) years total and three (3) years of recent hands-on airframe and powerplant experience on fixed wing aircraft preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year of King Air hands-on experience is desired
Must provide own hand tools

Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.
