The Quality Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and improving quality standards within the manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for ensuring that products meet customer specifications and quality requirements through routine inspections, documentation, and collaboration with production staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide the production floor with required quality documentation, measuring tools, and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished steel parts. Perform detailed measurements using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. Support the maintenance and implementation of the
ISO 9001
quality management system. Communicate effectively with production staff regarding quality procedures and measurement techniques. Respond to quality-related questions and assist in resolving production quality issues. Proactively support other departments when production is slow.
