Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Senior Test Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.
Salary:
$25- $30/hr DOE
Responsibilities In charge of developing and innovating dynamic shock equipment, processes and lab area while working with management to optimize the lab for customer needs and requirements
Regular maintenance of dynamics equipment for Huntsville lab and outside labs as needed
Mentor dynamics team for shock equipment, set up and normal maintenance routines Skills / Qualifications Educated to a good general standard including English and Maths
Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline
Hands-on job
Sound mechanical bias
Previous experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage
Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
An understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as
ISO 17025
is beneficial
Self motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A team player attitude
