Position Summary:
Quality Assurance/Testing and Compliance Lead will play a vital role in implementing and evolving quality assurance processes and procedures. The Quality Assurance/Training Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality assurance protocols to ensure that products at Threaded Fasteners Inc.’s. locations are accurate and meet company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice the “Plan, Do, Check, Act” principles in all Quality Assurance duties. Retrieve stock to perform Stock Checks, Cycle Counts, Bin Replenishment, etc. Communicate with sales on Testing/Inspections required by customers. Communicate with sales on TFI testing capabilities and lead times on testing. Keep branches informed on testing capabilities and lead times on testing. Work with branch managers on customers requiring additional testing/inspections. Assist branch managers with testing equipment needs and calibrations. Perform Rotational Capacity Testing as requested by customers. Perform agreed upon inspections per customer and/or industry standards. Collaborate with Certification Specialists on required documentation and its contents. Perform audits on Material Test Reports and documents received from vendors. Perform inventory adjustments using computer or handheld device. Perform audits on Material Test Reports and documents being sent by TFI locations. Perform QMS audits across all TFI locations. Maintain calibration records for all necessary devices across all TFI locations. Other duties assigned
Requirements:
Education and Experience Required:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution Forklift Certified, two-wheel hand cart, and scales Ability to read all necessary gauges.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
Knowledgeable in
TFI/OSHA
Safety requirements Communication Proficiency both verbal and written. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Documents, and data entry. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks. Reading, writing and math skills are essential.
