Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance/Training Lead will play a vital role in implementing and evolving quality assurance processes and procedures. The Quality Assurance/Training Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality assurance protocols to ensure that products at Threaded Fasteners Inc.’s. locations are accurate and meet company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice the “Plan, Do, Check, Act” principles in all Quality Assurance duties. Conduct regular training & QMS audits across all TFI locations. Collaborate with branch managers when training new employees. Prepare and distribute necessary training tools for new employees and continuous training. Assist branch managers in implementing new processes and procedures. Initiate corrective actions and evaluate their effectiveness. Identify and Analyze training needs within TFI locations. Compile regular training reports. Design, Develop, and implement effective training programs and materials. Facilitate and/or lead training sessions and new processes/procedures. Compile regular training reports. Mentor and coach employees on effective training techniques. Retrieve stock to perform Stock Checks, Cycle Counts, Bin Replenishment, etc. Perform inventory adjustments using computer or handheld device. Help maintain safe and clean aisles and bins. Assist the Quality department in auditing orders prior to shipment. Assist Human Resources with New Employee Orientation, training records and lunch & learns Assist all Quality Areas as needed. Stay up to date on ASTM and applicable industry standards and requirements. Other duties assigned
Requirements:
Education and Experience Required:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution Forklift Certified, two-wheel hand cart, and scales Ability to read all necessary gauges.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
Knowledgeable in
TFI/OSHA
Safety requirements Communication Proficiency both verbal and written. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Documents, and data entry. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks. Reading, writing and math skills are essential.
