Day:

Conduct thorough non-destructive testing (NDT) on products to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
Utilize advanced NDT methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing to evaluate material properties.
Accurately measure product dimensions to ensure conformity with design specifications.
Use precision tools and instruments to perform detailed measurements and record data for quality assurance purposes.
Perform detailed weld inspections to assess the quality and integrity of welds.
Ensure all weldments conform to applicable codes and standards, specifically AWS D1.1, and identify any deviations or defects requiring correction.
Verify and document that finished products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
Maintain detailed inspection records and reports to support quality control processes.
Work closely with production teams to communicate inspection findings and collaborate on solutions for any quality issues identified.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

Must Haves:

Must possess NDT Level II certification and/or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials.
Certifications should be current and provided by recognized industry bodies.
Proven experience in quality control, non-destructive testing, and inspection within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within the steel manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of NDT techniques and principles.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively document findings and convey information to team members and stakeholders. Job Requirement
