This position is responsible for executing inspection plans in cooperation with quality engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

Execute inspection plans, check lists in cooperation with quality and production teams using prescribed methods. Systems, applications and frequencies Select and utilize standard gauges, test and measurement equipment to ensure quality; inspect feature tolerances by selecting the tool with the required accuracy. Setup and operate to standard procedures Articulating Arm (ex. Romer) to achieve the desired inspection and verify results are valid. Records measurements, reviews and compiles measurement results into official reports Perform any documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design and specification requirements for both equipment and material used on flight hardware. Provide detailed in-process inspections on launch vehicle composite components, using detailed drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to manufacturing and design requirements. Perform the prescribed inspection on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials. May include but is not limited to purchased parts, in-process and final assemblies, and materials for conformance to specifications/drawings. Supports and Performs Gage Certification, Gage R&R and Capability Studies Identify and support the documentation of nonconformances in various systems or applications. Support nonconformance causal analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Perform all duties within established time and process requirements. Proactively support the Continuous Improvement Process.

Job Requirements:

3+ years of precision mechanical inspection experience in an applicable advanced manufacturing industry (Aerospace/Automotive) 2+ years of experience running and interpreting valid results with a FARO Arm Ability to inspect, test and measure materials or products being produced Excellent technical and planning skills Proficient communicator and positive interpersonal skills Ability to problem solve Excellent organization skills Understand the importance of proper identification and documentation Ability to clearly understand processes, procedures and standards Ability to work any or modified shifts when business conditions require 🌌
