Full Job Description Description:
The Quality Incoming Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying incoming raw materials, components, and products to ensure compliance with specifications and company standards. This role helps ensure that only approved materials enter the production process to maintain high product quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming materials, components, and parts for conformance to specifications, blueprints, and quality standards. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Document and maintain inspection records, including test data and non-conformance reports. Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming material and communicate findings to appropriate departments. Work closely with purchasing, suppliers, and engineering to resolve quality issues. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) related to incoming material quality. Ensure materials are labeled and stored properly after inspection. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 6 months experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficiency in using inspection tools and basic computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems) Good communication and documentation skills.
