The Role:
As an Animal Health Water Quality Technician , be responsible for managing water treatment and filtration services for poultry facilities. Technicians will ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence in the installation, service, and maintenance of water treatment systems. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required for this position.
Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely and effective communication throughout the sales and service process. Conduct site assessments and consultations to determine the most appropriate water treatment and filtration solutions for clients. Oversee the installation, service, and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. Technical Support & Service Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems. Ensure all installations and maintenance services are performed in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Follows appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP) for mixing, handling, and loading all chemical products including, but not limited to, chlorine-based solutions, acids, and disinfectants. Reads manufacturer’s specifications to calculate, mix, dispose of, and store chemicals. Maintenance & Operations Respond promptly to service requests, coordinating resources to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Maintain accurate records of all installations, services, and maintenance activities. Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and responsibly. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to hazardous materials. Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment, addressing any issues promptly.

Key Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a trade school program in plumbing, water management, or related field is preferred. Three years of experience in plumbing, agricultural logistics, or a combination of experience and education required. Valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement required. Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and no preventable accident history.
Working Conditions:
Work environments include confined poultry housing, outdoor sites, and warehouse operations. Exposure to dust, ammonia, chemicals, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
