Opportunity:

We are seeking a Gage Crib Inspector, who is a detailed – oriented professional with a passion for quality and precision. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on challenges, values strong working relationships, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards in manufacturing quality. You will be coordinating all calibration of the measuring and test equipment used to assure the quality of product produced. In addition, you will be setting gages for production associates. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and highly motivated team.

Location:

Plainville, CT Onsite 5 days a week Monday –

Friday Responsibilities:

Sets up, tears down and maintains gages to minimize down time of machinists and inspectors. Receives, verifies, organizes of gages and parts inventory. Maintains inventory Levels using spreadsheets and databases. Quotes gaging needs for inspection process. Maintenance of gage calibrations and gage crib. Keeps all gaging sorted in a logical fashion. Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to perform work subject to

ITAR/EAR

regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of experience in Quality Assurance function in a commercial or Aerospace environment Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English. Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and engineering sketches. Must have demonstrated mechanical ability. Proficiency in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL Clear communication (oral and written) skills Ability to keep accurate records Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and customer required records.

Physical Requirements:

Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
