Inspector Position Available In Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut

Job Title:

Inspector Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled Inspector for our 2nd shift team. Responsibilities Conduct final inspections of finished aerospace parts and components. Operate a CMM machine as needed. Perform both visual and dimensional inspections using standard measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and borescopes. Inspect parts against customer specifications and decide acceptance or rejection. Create non-conformance reports based on inspection outcomes. Work with operations sheets and blueprints daily, utilizing GD&T extensively. Verify certification packages before applying the final signature stamp.

DQR experience a plus:

Release products before shipping and manage related documentation. Conduct first article inspections in accordance with AS9102. Perform product audits compared to customer specifications. Secure customer approvals and prior authorization before shipment. Match supplier certifications to purchase orders. Conduct source inspections. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for non-conformances. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience as an Inspector, preferably in an aerospace environment. Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with DPRV/DSQR/DQR, FAI, and auditing is a huge plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of first article inspection processes. Why Work Here?
