Job Summary:

Inspection of details of components, and assemblies

Responsibilities and Duties:

Must be able to check out and calibrate precision tools, gages, jigs and fixtures Perform first article inspection and check out set-ups in machine shop prior to production runs. Perform complex calculations, computations and set-up complicated surface plate layouts. Work with supervisors and methods engineering to assure compliance to all requirements from a Quality Assurance standpoint. Perform simple maintenance functions on inspection tools and equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Most know machine shop practices Class A inspection ability, shop math(trigonometry). Prior experience layout inspection.
