Quality Control Inspector ATP Industries – 3.3 Plainville, CT Job Details Full-time From $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Defect detection (quality control) No experience needed Production in-process inspection Electrical discharge machining Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description There will be two primary roles during this position: First, as an in-process inspector, you will take sample parts off of machines to check dimensions on milled and turned metal parts, and let machinists know what corrections need to be made on a part to meet specifications, then you will verify their work. You will not be expected to know how to run these machines, only on how to measure parts, which will be trained. Secondly, there is a wire EDM that needs to run during the night. You will be trained on loading this and how to start it, which does not require previous experience with wire EDM nor will you be expected to setup the machine. The job will start with coming in around in around noon-8:30pm to train on how to do in-process inspection and run the EDM. Within a couple weeks after getting comfortable, it will move to being a 3:30pm-1am role.
