Job Description
Quality Technician Contract Medical Manufacturing, LLC Oxford, CT 06478 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The Quality Technician will work closely with production teams to maintain quality systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with established standards. Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and specifications. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Implement and maintain quality control procedures in accordance with HACCP guidelines and FDA regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits related to quality systems. Experience Proven experience in quality inspection or a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines. Familiarity with quality control processes and data collection techniques. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
