JOB DESCRIPTION
The Receiving Quality Inspector shall be responsible for the following: Performing receiving inspection of raw material, hardware and consumable items Review of supplier-provided quality documentation (certificates, test results, etc.) Performance of mechanical inspection of purchased machined parts using hand-held measuring devices Performance of form, fit, function inspection of outside processed parts to design drawings/mylars of sheet metal parts Performance of hardness and continuity testing of outside processed heat treated parts Completion of inspection reports on company-provided formats Data entry in the organization’s ERP system – Global Shop Assisting other inspectors in fulfillment of their job duties, as required Performance of any and all tasks in support of the organization’s Quality Management System – as assigned by the Director of Quality or his designee
