Job Description Job Description This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is hands-on with a passion for quality to join an established and growing company! The Quality Technician is a key role that helps ensure our parts are compliant and meet customer requirements. Job Duties Support quality systems including: Assessment of part conformance to customer drawing/spec requirements and MRB (dimensional acceptance)
Support operators in inspection techniques on the shop floor.
Help maintain and improve documentation including operating procedures and work instructions
Review of inspection data to determine process capability, quality concerns, and corrective actions.
Internal auditing
Maintenance of the specification library
Verification of customer specifications and requirements
Help develop and complete improvement projects
Help maintain and improve documentation including operating procedures and internal testing results.
Supplier quality including auditing Support laboratory activities as needed including: Sample preparation and testing
Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
Facilitate outsourcing of testing
Sample and report archiving
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required specifically Microsoft Excel
Previous manufacturing/quality/engineering experience highly desired
Excellent organization and attention to detail
