QC In-Process Inspector Jobs / Trabajos Rockledge, FL 32955
Position Description:
The Quality Control In-Process Inspector Primarily responsible to ensure product meet defined quality requirements during manufacturing by inspecting electronic assemblies, cables, box build units and/or raw materials during various stages of manufacturing and identifying acceptable and defective product utilizing standard industry tooling (halos, mantis, calipers, eye loops, etc.). Other responsibilities include solder rework of surface mount and through-hole components utilizing soldering irons and soldering rework stations.
Principal Responsibilities:
Use observational skills to detect when product and/or raw materials do not meet defined requirements before customer delivery.
- Review inspection reports to ensure all inspection process have been fulfilled
- Reviews engineering generated work instructions
- May operate AOI machine as needed
- May perform rework soldering on SMT/TH processes
- Accurately enter inspection data into computerized process
- Work closely with QA Manager, Area Leads, and Process Engineers to resolve quality concerns
- Ensures work area is kept clean and safety rules are followed

- Must be able to operate inspection machine (AOI, X-RAY)
- Must be able to read and interpret industry standards, engineering drawings and specifications
- Must be able to identify component markings, orientations and polarity
- Must be detail oriented pertaining to product and documentation completeness and correctness
- Must have good computer and math skills
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies by adhering to all established safety protocols and ESD procedures to protect sensitive electronic components.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer literacy is essential, along with the ability to read, write, review, and approve documentation.
- Participate in company-sponsored and specialized training programs to enhance skills and professional development.

Desired Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required. Or two years in the electronic industry.
- A minimum of two years of relevant electronic inspection experience is necessary.
- Minimum of one year performing AS9102 First Article inspections and documentation completion. Solutions Manufacturing Open Positions In order of priority
- Demonstrated working knowledge of
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, IPC A
600, 610, 620, and J-STD certifications is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in soldering small electronic components is necessary.
- Previous rework soldering experience preferred
- Show strong oral, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The employee in this role is required to walk, sit, and utilize a computer. Sitting most of shift with computer and various manufacturing tools, and machines. . When performing back up duties, will be exposed to soldering iron and related tools, AOI machine. May be required to lift up to 15 pounds. May lift trays or push carts of PCB assemblies from one department to another.
Work Environment:
The manufacturing environment is maintained in a clean, temperature-regulated state, an overhead radio, and team efforts made to ensure safety, organization, and a positive atmosphere. Individual workspaces are assigned to each employee. Regular operating hours are established as 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required contingent upon business demands.
