This role involves inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards, applying logic and reasoning to problem-solving, and maintaining high standards of organization in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in inspection, lab tech work, or analytical decision-making, with experience in industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aviation, or automotive.
General Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
Communication Skills:
Proficient in English (verbal and written).
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly. Capable of bending, reaching, and stretching as needed. Operate computers and access electronic databases.
Analytical Skills:
Apply logic and reasoning in decision-making regarding findings or exceptions. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to recognize and address non-conformances by comparing received products against specifications.
Independence:
Ability to make independent decisions and resolve issues efficiently.
Job-Specific Requirements:
2+ years of dedicated inspection, lab tech, or analytical decision-making experience preferred. Experience in quality control within industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aviation, automotive, or construction is highly desirable.
Quality Control Knowledge:
Familiar with basic quality control concepts like sampling, non-conformances, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), RTV (Return to Vendor), and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Experience with ISO standards is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Ability to navigate IT/computer systems efficiently and learn new software tools as needed.
