Experience and Requirement:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or related field Kipu experience strongly preferred Clinical and/or UR experience strongly preferred Has to be proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft office) Organized and multitask individual Adobe experience required
Responsibilities QA:
Responsible for auditing behavioral and/or mental health electronic medical records for quantitative and qualitative elements according to organizational requirements and timelines Responsible for notifying appropriate facility staff for completion of outstanding documentation and cross referencing that those items have been completed within time frame provided Attend quarterly director meetings regarding documentation trends, standards, improvements, etc. Attend trainings for new hires, as assigned by
Director of QA Responsibilities Medical Records:
Responsible for receiving all requests for medical records via email Responsible for proofreading, compiling and submission of confidential electronic medical records for disability claims for discharged clients As assigned by Director of QA, responsible for compiling and submission of requests for electronic medical records for discharged patients. This may include from attorneys, employers, clients, family members, etc. Must encrypt/protect all PDF/Casefiles that are submitted May assist Director of QA with compilation of medical records for insurance carrier audits Responsible for drafting and obtaining medical director signature via DocuSign for appeal letters when requested Responsible for updating and maintaining Accounting of Disclosure Log of all released
