Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Technician to support our quality assurance efforts in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100D standards. This role will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing/aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspection of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Document inspection results and maintain quality records in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100D requirements. Assist in non-conformance investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions. Ensure all inspection tools and gauges are calibrated and properly maintained. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and assisting auditors. Participate in process improvement and risk management activities. Enforce adherence to quality standards and procedures across the production floor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100D quality management systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical documents. Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs. Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 is a plus. Basic computer skills; experience with quality software systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
