Mon – Fri 03:00 pm – until close (Saturdays when needed) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing. . Your expertise will help us uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional products that meet customer expectations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to perform detailed measurements and analyses. Document inspection results accurately and maintain records in accordance with quality management protocols. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and maintain an understanding of industry standards related to quality assurance. Participate in internal audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions as needed. Provide feedback on product quality trends and suggest improvements to enhance overall quality processes. Skills Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment from 34º F to 55º F depending on the cooler Able to lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height and above Knowledge of general fresh produce quality Proficient knowledge of Navision. Excellent ability to work as a team and self-driven Good attention to detail and product quality Able to follow directions verbally and by phone. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in making recommendations and decisions within scope of responsibility. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and reporting findings clearly. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement in quality processes.
