We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our high-performing team at our Weston, Florida facility. Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with various aspects of the FAA-Approved Quality Management System (14 CFR 21 Subpart K) including inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, engineering specifications, and our
AS9100/ISO
9001-certified quality standards. This role is critical in ensuring airworthiness and supporting a robust quality system throughout the production lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) Verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and PMA requirements Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 standards, including Laser CMM equipment Identify and record non-conformances; support Material Review Board (MRB) activities Maintain accurate inspection records to ensure FAA traceability Support internal audits and FAA surveillance audits Collaborate with production and engineering to generate manufacturing/engineering production plans, troubleshoot and resolve quality issues Assess parts and materials for proper finishes, including plating and other finishing processes Evaluate materials and material properties, including anti-corrosive techniques Qualifications Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or aviation manufacturing Strong understanding of FAA PMA regulations and

quality systems Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical specifications Skilled in using standard precision measurement tools Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Strong documentation and communication skills Familiarity with ERP and/or QMS platforms Working knowledge of
ASME Y14.5
