Role:

360xStaffing is hiring a

QA & NDT

Inspector to support one of our premier marine industry clients in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for a certified Non-Destructive Testing professional with hands-on experience in ship repair and quality systems. You’ll conduct NDT inspections (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT), perform quality audits, maintain equipment, and help ensure all repair work meets strict NAVSEA, ABS, and ISO standards. The role includes both field inspection and documentation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and document NDT inspections (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT) per

ASNT SNT-TC-1A

Submit Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) within 24 hours of inspection Maintain NDT equipment and manage calibration schedules Support internal quality audits and assist in resolving non-conformance issues Conduct root cause analysis and help implement corrective actions Develop and manage Test & Inspection Plans (TIPs) and Required Reports (RRs) Ensure compliance with OSHA, NAVSEA, and site safety protocols Coordinate with third-party NDT vendors as needed

Qualifications:

ASNT Level II certification (or ability to obtain) in UT, RT, MT, PT, or VT 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or ship repair environments Strong understanding of NAVSEA, ABS, and

ISO 9001

2015 standards Experience interpreting blueprints, specifications, and QMS documentation Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) Comfortable working in industrial/marine environments and lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Experience:

ASNT Level III certification or additional NDT disciplines Background in naval vessel repair or marine engineering Knowledge of TIPs, RRs, NMD (Navy Maintenance Database) Experience with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), SKED, MRC, MIP Lead/Internal Auditor certification

Position Details:

Full-Time Monday-Friday (with possible overtime or adjusted shifts based on project needs) On-site in Jacksonville, FL Competitive pay based on experience and certifications
