The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies as well as proficiency in precision measuring instruments. Duties Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to perform accurate measurements. Must have proven and recent experience with Faro Arm and Faro Laser Probe measuring devices and Verisurf software. Understanding of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Analyze inspection data and prepare reports to communicate findings to management and production teams. Implement and maintain quality systems in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in production processes. Support Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to achieve part conformance and process capability and efficiency. Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required. Train team members on quality assurance practices and procedures. Experience Proven experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with quality assurance standards, such as AS9100, is highly desirable. Must have proven and recent experience with Faro Arm and Faro Laser Probe measuring devices and Verisurf software. Proficient in using software tools for data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience with quality systems implementation and maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments is essential for this role. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration across teams.
