  • Create, develop and maintain incoming, in-process, and final inspection criteria needed to demonstrate compliance to factory requirements.
  • Conduct electrical tests and inspections to ensure units function according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure.
  • Collect and report on incoming, in-process, and final inspection results in support of Management Review Procedure.
  • Report on and track any significant deviations from quality standards and established goals, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to appropriate management
  • Participate in new product development and Production Readiness Reviews to ensure proper quality assurance and control plans can be implemented prior to beginning production.
  • Ensure compliance with established ISO policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on quality management principles and practices
  • Apply knowledge of production methods and procedures, capabilities of machines and equipment and product technology.
  • Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to production operators
  • Read and understand drawings, pick list, bills of material.
  • Keep facilities, materials and work areas clean, organized and free of FOD
  • Assist with mechanical assembly, inventory control and packing as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience electronics manufacturing in an ISO9001 facility
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-62 and/or
IPC-J-STD-001
  • Appropriate time management skills to meet production schedule and deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work with urgency in a fast-paced production environment
