- Create, develop and maintain incoming, in-process, and final inspection criteria needed to demonstrate compliance to factory requirements.
- Conduct electrical tests and inspections to ensure units function according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure.
- Collect and report on incoming, in-process, and final inspection results in support of Management Review Procedure.
- Report on and track any significant deviations from quality standards and established goals, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to appropriate management
- Participate in new product development and Production Readiness Reviews to ensure proper quality assurance and control plans can be implemented prior to beginning production.
- Ensure compliance with established ISO policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts
- Provide guidance and training to employees on quality management principles and practices
- Apply knowledge of production methods and procedures, capabilities of machines and equipment and product technology.
- Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to production operators
- Read and understand drawings, pick list, bills of material.
- Keep facilities, materials and work areas clean, organized and free of FOD
- Assist with mechanical assembly, inventory control and packing as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience electronics manufacturing in an ISO9001 facility
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-62 and/or
IPC-J-STD-001
- Appropriate time management skills to meet production schedule and deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work with urgency in a fast-paced production environment
