Agency Overview:

DISC Village, Inc. is a private non-profit behavioral health organization that has been operating in and throughout the Big Bend area of North Florida for over 50 years. Providing expertise in services in the areas of substance abuse, mental health, and child welfare to adults, adolescents, and families. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to serve in our Gadsden and Wakulla County offices.

Dependency Case Management Services:

DISC Village Inc., strives to provide the highest quality of child welfare prevention and intervention services to children and their families within their communities of Wakulla/Franklin Counties and Gadsden/Liberty Counties. Our program is designed to provide a continuum of services that assist families with acute or chronic conditions that threaten child safety and family stability.

Essential Responsibilities:

Coordinate quality improvement activities across Child Welfare programs to ensure efficiency and reduce redundancy. Conduct on-site reviews to evaluate performance and compliance, including examine records and files, interviews with staff, youth, and families. Review daily reports from NWFHN to support communication and performance tracking with case managers and site supervisors, discussing outcomes, productivity and compliance reports. Identify and document areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions. Analyze the impact of policy changes and quality initiatives. Assist with audits, licensing, site visits, and compliance monitoring. Support the development and implementation of performance improvement or corrective action plans. Serves as a subject matter expert on Child Welfare requirements. Must be willing and able to travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university. Experience in Child Welfare, with knowledge of the practice model, judicial oversight, and supervision. Maintain Child Welfare Certification through the Florida Certification Board. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN). Strong communication and report writing skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership skills to manage and complete projects effectively. Familiarity with quality management tools, concepts, and methodologies. Valid Florida driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle with current insurance. $52,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
